Are you a blogger? How about a free book?

Want one of these? My latest inspirational romance novel won't be available in stores until August 26, but if you're a blogger who's willing to give me a little PR boost, you can get one now--for free (sort of).

In return for an autographed copy of At His Command, I'll ask you to blog about the book sometime during the month of August and link to my blog and to the book's Amazon page. You won't even have to worry about sugar-coating your comments if you don't like the book. As always, I'll be grateful for any honest review.

Supplies will be limited, so hurry and shoot an e-mail to BrendaCoulter@gmail.com (my regular address is having some issues). Give me your full name and your U.S. or Canadian mailing address plus the URL of your blog.

That's it. Hope you all enjoy the book.

For those of you who are waiting to hear more about the book and read a long excerpt, I'm working on that. Please stay tuned.

EDIT: 3:02PM EDT, July 23

I now have 40 bloggers signed up to review the book, and that's about as many copies as I can give away at this time. Sorry!

I'd love one of your books. Unfortunately I won't be back in Canada (my home) until August 31, so I wouldn't be able to get the book read in time. I did read A Family Forever, though, and loved it...so I'm sure this one is great too.

Aw, too bad, Shelley. But thanks for the kind words.

SORRY--THE OFFER HAS EXPIRED.

I have promised books to 40 bloggers, and that's my limit for now. Thank you all for your interest!

I'll be reviewing this on the Wives of Faith military wives' blog as soon as it's available in stores and I can get my hands on a copy! (faithwives.blogspot.com) I've begun book 1 in the continuity series and I am really excited to see how the six books play out!

AAAWWWWUUUUUUUGGGGHHHH! Shucks.

I was willing to give it a shot. I heard that good writers read, great writers read a lot, and fantastic writers read a lot of everything. It would have been cool to make my first foray into your genre with you (being someone I could easily comment to via e-mail).

I'll keep my eyes open for the next one.

Brenda Coulter said...

Oh, dear. Michael, you have just won my heart. Because you're a guy and because you're not a romance reader, I'll be pleased to extend the offer to you. E-mail me.

When I did this a couple of years ago, I had several guys and several non-romance readers and a Jew who were willing to read my Christian romance novel. This time I got mostly Christian woman who read romance. Don't get me wrong--I love those ladies and am grateful for their interest in my writing and their willingness to do me this favor. But since the purpose of this promotion is not to collect warm fuzzies but to get my book talked about, I don't cherry-pick the reviewers.

And Pattie, since you were already planning to review the book, I'll be happy to send you a copy, too. E-mail me.

Too funny. I just said I don't cherry-pick the reviewers, but just now I chose to send a book to Michael because he's a guy and he's not a romance reader.

Make of that what you will!

Weeeeeee. That's all I can say. Thank you!
