C'mon, get happy

It's an ugly day (cold, rainy) and I'm fighting a headache and feeling cranky. Good thing I just followed a link (from Lifehacker) to The Happiness Project, which has lots of helpful tips for feeling happier right now.

None of this stuff is new to me, but the reminder was timely. I'm going to clean off my desk, then run outside and pluck a few daffodils to stick into a vase. After that I'll make a pot of tea and think happy thoughts. I'll remind myself that my book is a RITA finalist, and that my sister and her husband are coming tomorrow night to spend the weekend with us.

Goodness. I've cheered myself up already, even without the daffodils.

As an inspirational romance novelist you write books that bring happiness to others. How's that for a happy thought? :-)

Here's sending some warm, happy vibes your way. 'Hope the weekend with your sister is great!
