Out of the office

Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for the Romance Writers of America Conference in Atlanta. My computer and I need a break from each other, so I won't be hauling it down there. But that doesn't mean I won't be live-blogging the conference--just that I'll be doing it a little differently this year. This time I'm planning to phone in my entries.

Since I won't have my computer to edit the audio posts, they'll be left untitled. You won't see any text, just the little audio buttons, which should appear immediately after I post a message. I'll probably "phone home" several times a day, so check back often.

If all goes according to plan, after the awards ceremony ends on Saturday night (somewhere around 10:00 Eastern Time) I'll call and let you know who won RITAs. Stay tuned, and be sure to tell your friends.

And now I'm going to go pack my suitcase. You kids be gone while I'm gone. Don't forget to floss.

Hope you have a safe trip and enjoy your time there! Also, just in case you weren't aware, I read about the audio posting and it said that long distance charges may apply so be careful with that...

Thanks for thinking of me, Shelley. Yes, it was a LD call, but my cell phone's plan covers those.

Mary, thanks for telling your friends.

Bonnie and Julie, I did have a wonderful time, and came home encouraged and inspired.
