He's dead, Jim

I was never a big Star Trek fan, but I believe that sooner or later, every blogger stoops to writing a Star Trek post. I've managed to avoid succumbing for over three years, but I can't hold out any longer. This video is too funny.

Best line: "He's worse than dead. His brain is gone." (Don't miss Capt. Kirk's reaction.)

Runner-up for best line: "Is this a dead man, doctor?" "Very dead, Mr. Spock."

"Stoops to writing a Star Trek post" ??? Harumph!
As a long time Trekkie, I say it should be "Stepping up to write a Star Trek post"
It's iconic. And whereas my pastor's wife says she has a hard time understanding how God can live outside of time, and see everything, I proudly say I don't have a hard time at all!
I'd explain more, but it goes against the temporal prime directive.

Too funny!

I don't have any objection to science fiction. And as far as God living outside of time, if he created everything that is, then surely he created time, and can live and operate outside of it. I think that's what meant by Psalm 90:4 (NIV--"For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.") And also II Peter 3:8 (NIV--"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.")

That video is hilarious. I was all geeked on TNG (Next Generation) more than the original series.

And Barbara, I hope you don't mind if I comment on your pastor's wife and say it's funny to me how people limit God to the scope of their powers of perception.
