Christmas art

This close to Christmas, my blog readership drops off quite a bit. But I'm still here, even if you're not, and I've been amusing myself by making some Christmas art.

I started by taking a picture of our Christmas tree. With my camera's flash turned off. And I purposefully jiggled as I squeezed the shutter button. But the resulting photo didn't come out quite as interesting as I'd hoped, so I applied the "chalk" filter that comes with Microsoft Digital Image Editor.

Now I'm very pleased with this bunch of colorful, dangling quarter notes.

Colorful pattern of music notes you've created. Very nice effect, actually. Merry Christmas.

That's really cool... now you've inspired me to go play with the camera!

I like it!
This time of year, I'm on vacation (our school holidays are different to yours) so I have more time to spend keeping up with yours and other blogs.
I plan to be around!

Carolanne, I'll do my best to keep you entertained, but the week before Christmas is always a very busy one for me.
