I've been feeling all icky since posting that stuff about O.J. Simpson this morning, so I took a couple of pictures just now to cheer myself up.It's a rainy autumn afternoon here in my neighborhood. Good thing I've always been fascinated by puddles and fallen leaves, because there are plenty of both in my driveway right now.
The leaves are from one of our gigantic elm trees.

What is it about wet leaves on pavement? So pretty. I'm glad you were cheered.
I feel the same way about my own...I just want to paste them back on the trees and say, "Just kidding!"
It's easy for me to look at the fallen leaves and call them pretty; my husband is the one who will be out there with the leaf blower this weekend!
