RWA Conference lagniappe
Harlequin/Silhouette/Steeple Hill authors who attended the company's glitzy party at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Friday night received these adorable silver wineglass charms as favors. They're meant to be snapped around the stem of your glass to pretty it up and mark it as your own. (The diamond design is Harlequin's logo.)
Why am I showing you these? Because I was looking at the charms just now and thinking they would work as earrings. And I bet I'm not the only recipient who has considered that. So if you see someone at your writers group wearing these, you'll know where she got them.
There now. Is this a full-service blog, or what?

They're so cute. And when I saw the pic before reading the text, I naturally thought they were "harlequin" earrings.
Nice present.

Gorgeous, Brenda!
Great idea for earrings :)
Yeah, Holly Jacobs and I were discussing the same thing. We think we might get more use out of them as earrings. (g) They'd make really cute earrings. Be funny if we all decided to wear them next year. Hey, we're creative, what can we say? (g)
Hey Brenda,
It was good seeing you a conference. When we left the party, we picked up our little bag and looked inside. We thought they were earrings. Now you tell me they are for wine glasses. I think I'll make them into earrings, too.

Those look beautiful. I would love to wear those as earings :)

Hi, Susan. Holly was supposed to meet a bunch of us for lunch but got lost in the crowd, so I never saw her in Atlanta. Bummer.
Merrillee, it was a treat getting to spend some time with you.
They would make CUTE earrings! I'm jealous. I want some!
