You are so right about meeting new friends at conference. I always like to sit at a table with strangers. Even my mother went with me this year and chatted it up with a bunch of people in the lobby. She's not a big reader and definitely not a writer but, boy can she talk.
She and one lady sat in the lobby and commiserated about their aching feet during the booksigning the other night, and I'm thinking, 'Oh no, what famous author did my mother accost to discuss bunions!?!?" lol
Loving the updates! Today is the big day. Golden Heart and RITA awards! Oh, to be a fly on the wall.
Brenda, I want to say thanxs so much for keeping us updated on how much fun you are having at the conference & the parties. This is very good idea. Love hearing your voice. It's always nice to hear an authors voice.
