So that's how you keep the mint from taking over the garden. Do you buy a new start each spring? A friend told me to plant it in an in-ground bucket.

The mint did take over the garden, Julana, so we pulled it all out, stuffed some into a pot, and sank that into the garden. The roots promptly grew out the bottom of the pot and little mints popped up everywhere. So we put the pot on the patio. Now if any of those pesky roots try snaking out and heading across the patio toward the garden, I'm going to stomp on 'em!

Mine usually winters over, but it's not quite as protected in a pot, so you might need to buy another plant next spring.

Ohhh, that sounds yummy. We don't have any mint plants...should look and see if I can find one at a nursery or something (but I won't plant it in a garden, just a pot ;o) hehehe)

Yea...mint is really fun to try and get rid of! About as much fun as herding cats!

This sounds tasty...I'll have to try it this weekend!
