This week I'm doing the final edits on a manuscript I meant to send to my editor the first week in April. As many of you know, I've been suffering from daily migraines, and that has played havoc with my concentration. I've been trying to work on the book but just can't get anywhere. No, it's not writer's block, but a pain- and drug-induced inability to think straight. (I've had a CT scan, blood work, and everything else; my doctor is still trying to identify the cause of the headaches.)
So I'm taking the week off, sort of. I won't be reading other blogs (not even Terry!) or scouring the internet for interesting tidbits to share with you. But I might toss up some garden photos or rerun an old post or two, so be sure to check back.
I've fallen way behind on my e-mail. If you have taken the time to write to me, rest assured that I will answer just as soon as I can. During the past couple of weeks I've been responding only to urgent messages, but I'll catch up with everyone after I get this manuscript in the mail.
I know a lot of you are praying people, and anyone who prays for my headache problem will have my profoundest gratitude. But don't feel too sorry for me. I have a beautiful garden to sit in (when the sun's not shining so brightly that it hurts my eyes), plenty of Earl Grey tea to drink, and all of you nice readers to be grateful for. Life is still pretty good.

Garden. Earl Grey. Gratefulness. You're way ahead of the curve.
I'll be praying the headaches go.
Take care.
Good luck with the headaches.
Could it be something as simple as computer time? I was suffering hugely a while ago & had a CT scan as well, changed my eye prescription, started wearing reading glasses over my contacts, got progressive lenses in my glasses ... but the single thing that made the largest difference was significantly limiting computer time. Which means, of course, prioritizing and planning very carefully. :-)
Will be praying! Have a super restful time off and I'm looking forward to book #3
Blessings!
You do what you gotta, babes. God's healing touch be upon you.
We'll be here when you have time to hang with us again. :)
