I wasn't planning to post today, but I wanted to share two things: First, my regular column is up at Romancing the Blog.
And here's a blog post I really didn't have time to read this morning but I'm glad I did because it gave me a good laugh. The blogger is poking fun at the patterns often found in the comments section of a typical blog post. Most of the first dozen or so comments appear to have been faked by the blogger, but his friends quickly entered into the spirit of the exercise. What followed was a free-for-all that contained myriad blogging in-jokes, commenters posing as well-known bloggers (and also Dan Brown), and even some fake comment spam.
I couldn't resist leaving a comment of my own. It's #643.

I just commented a second time, #681. Surely that post will go down in blogging history.
If any of you leave comments over there, please let me know so I can snicker at your entries. ;-)
I say thee nay! I faked no comment! I posted twice under my own name. The first few dozen were otherwise the work of my brilliant regular readers. The whole thing was an unexpected wonder.
Thank you very much for the link and compliments, though.
Good sir, I do must humbly beg thy pardon!
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Easter, Brenda!
Thanks, Julana. Hope you're having a good one, also.
