Now that's what I call a lobster dinner!

I was just telling my husband last night that it has been way too long since I've had lobster, so I was especially interested in this USA Today link my Number One Son sent me just a minute ago.

It seems that people are arguing over the fate of "Bubba", a 22-pound lobster which is estimated to be between 50 and 100 years old.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent [owner Bob]Wholey a letter asking him to work with the group to release Bubba back in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine.

Another group calling itself People For Eating Tasty Animals reportedly offered Wholey a hefty price for the lobster. At Tuesday's price of $14.98 a pound, Bubba would retail for about $350.

Where do I sign up to join that second group? Yum!

If you didn't already click through to the article, go read it now. It's short, educational, and best of all, it contains an excellent pun in the last line.

I love how "People for Eating Tasty Animals" are also called PETA. Classic.

I don't know if you saw it or not, but, as irony would have it, Bubba died after about a day at the new zoo.

Oh, well.

Thanks for the link, Hobbes.
