E. B. White has long been one of my literary heroes. It wasn't Charlotte's Web that snagged me, but the essays and articles I began reading as a teenager. Now twenty years after "Andy" White's death, stepson Roger Angell remembers him in The New Yorker. It's a White-worthy piece. Don't miss it.
