When those ARCs were given to that guy, they became his property to dispose of as he saw fit.Brenda Coulterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13528691681455659296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9791523.post-38501550868202503972007-09-07T17:52:00.000-04:002007-09-07T17:52:00.000-04:00http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrppZ25QQfrtsZ50QQsass...http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrppZ25QQfrtsZ50QQsassZnick08080display namehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13932583610097913982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9791523.post-13671136934620171762007-09-07T17:51:00.000-04:002007-09-07T17:51:00.000-04:00this guy has about 200 ARCs on ebay right now of b...this guy has about 200 ARCs on ebay right now of books that some aren't even released yet and others were just released this month. It was also interesting to see used copies appear as well (that was fast!). While I doubt anyone in Penguin or Berkley was hoarding copies to sell, it's a bit disconcerting that something given for free is being sold. Then again, I don't have any suggestions for what to do with used ARC's after the review has been written. Just seems a tad too enterprising with lots of potential for abuse.

I'm enjoying your blog, Brenda!Mia Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17336557186169100337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9791523.post-45596550170269508872007-02-22T21:41:00.000-05:002007-02-22T21:41:00.000-05:00I hope they get more than a slap on the wrist too....I hope they get more than a slap on the wrist too. How unfair to the authors and publishers! Hopefully this will be a huge deal and become the example for others who attempt to sell the ARCs on Ebay or wherever...Shelley L.
