Housekeeping: links, comments, e-mail

Are you onMySpace? Two days ago, I joined the cool kids over there. Check out my profile page, where you can view a nifty slideshow of my garden pictures. And if you're a MySpace user, please consider adding me to your "friends" list.

Now let's talk links. As always, just about any blogger who posts a permanent (sidebar) link to No rules can count on a reciprocal link. (See the link list in the right-hand column for my policy.) If you decide to link, you can leave a comment here or e-mail to let me know, or you can just wait a day or two for me to discover your link at Technorati. I usually catch 'em all.

If I'm already linking to your blog, please check your listing and let me know if your URL or your blog's name has changed. And yes, if you have more than one blog linking here, I'll give you link for link. No sweat.

I'm afraid I have again fallen behind on my e-mail. I'm tremendously flattered that so many of you want to "talk" to me, and I will respond to everyone as soon as I can. Let me give you a tip, though: If you have a question or comment about a blog post, it's really better to say so here rather than e-mailing me privately. That's because I usually stay on top of the blog comments, even when I don't have time to answer the private e-mail. But it's up to you.

Note to shy people: If you've never left a comment on a blog post before, I challenge you to try it right here, right now. C'mon. You know you want to. Just click on "COMMENTS" down there in that little green box. You don't even have to leave your name.

Okay, I admit to being one of those "shy" types. Sometimes I think, "If I leave a comment, will someone think it's dumb?" Oh, and I'm also slightly computer illiterate. But then a friend of mine showed me how, and well, it can be a bit addictive. I love the idea of connecting with other people from all over the world. And all from the comfort of my own home! I don't even have to pack up my three kids and go anywhere! :-)

Blessings all you blogging maniacs,
Shauna

Loved your photos of fireworks yesterday. Our evening didn't turn out as planned. We opted not to climb the muddy hill and set up the tarp and umbrellas so we could watch the 'works. Instead, we joined our family in the city, played games around the dining room table, and didn't hear a single BOOM. There's always next year.

Shy Shauna, thanks for speaking up. Greetings from a blogging maniac in the midwestern U.S.

Domino, glad you liked the fireworks pics.

Mary, see how easy that was? Thanks for commenting. And also for reading my blog.

Tina, many thanks for the link. I'll put you on my list.

Thanks for the picture of fireworks. It's the only one I saw this holiday. Because of the disaster, no one in this county is in the mood to celebrate...i can't blame them!
